Hi,

I am trying to set up a POP account on my GoDaddy server to push email to a Blackjack II WM6 standard smartphone.  Every time I fill in the sign up form, it tries to connect to the server, and returns an error code of invalid username or password, which I know are correctly entered.

Any guidance?

Thanks, Matt

The next time you try, use the manual mode. If your username is something like user@domain.com then I would definitely recommend the manual mode.

Thanks,
I tried all that, and called GoDaddy to verify server address.  Still no joy.

Same problem here, I always get "invalid user name or password" in both auto and manual setup.

I'm having exactly the same issue with godaddy email.  Auto and manual setup results in "invalid user name or password" message.  I spent 30 minutes with godaddy TS verifying settings and they have no idea.  Their incoming pop3 server address is "pop.secureserver.net"  My  other POP3 accounts work with no problem.

Am I wrong or to use this program one has to enter their username and password for their server account. For instance, I just bought a Motorola Q and I want to push mail and calendar through Outlook. When Mobipush asks me for a screen name and password aren't they asking for my AOL screen name and AOL password? That seems very insecure to me to divulge it. Am I not getting it?

The issue with GoDaddy email has been resolved. When adding your account to mobiPush, please use the manual settings option and use your eMail address as your username.
